The deal is simple. If your car comes to Collision Masters and we fix it, you don't pay for the tow. It doesn't matter if the repair goes through insurance or you pay out of pocket.
If you need a tow and the car is not coming to us for repair, ask about the cost when you call, before the truck goes out. That way there are no surprises.
After a wreck: what Texas says about accident tows
Towing in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, TDLR. According to TDLR, a tow from an accident scene is a non-consent tow, and it stays non-consent even if you sign something at the scene.
That matters for what you sign. At the scene, the paperwork you sign covers charges for the tow only. It does not cover repairs. A tow ticket is required when you are there. And TDLR says you and the tow operator only need to agree to take the car somewhere other than the storage lot. In plain words, you can ask for the car to go straight to the shop you picked.

We tow across the Rio Grande Valley and statewide. Our Mission shop sits on Expressway 83 on the west side of the Valley, and our Edinburg shop is at 11700 Rooth Road. McAllen sits between them. Whether the car is stuck in Mission, Edinburg, McAllen, Pharr, or Weslaco, call the shop closest to you.
We tow on a flatbed. The whole car rides on the bed, so no wheels drag on the road. That matters after a wreck, when a wheel or the suspension may already be damaged.
What to do while you wait
If the car is in a lane and you can move it safely, get it to the shoulder and turn on your hazards. Before anything gets moved, take photos of both cars, the plates, and the other driver’s insurance card.
When you call us, tell us where you are, what you drive, and whether it still rolls. That tells the driver what to expect when he gets there.
Tow at night, estimate in the morning
The phones answer around the clock. The shops are open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5:30 PM, and that is when we start on the estimate. If your car comes in on a Saturday night, it is at the shop when we open Monday, and the estimate is free like always.
